Tristan Armstrong
Guitar

Tristan Armstrong has a wide musical background with knowledge of various instruments, and an extensive knowledge of the guitar. He holds an appreciation for all forms and styles of music and his playing specializes in Rock, Jazz and Blues.

Upon completion of High School, Tristan attended Malaspina University-College, where he finished a Diploma in Jazz and studied privately with Canadian jazz icon Pat Coleman. After obtaining his Diploma he attended Humber College in Toronto to further his musical education. While in Toronto, Tristan had the opportunity to study and play with accomplished artists such as David Occhipinti, Ted Quinlan, Dave Liebman and Steve Gadd.

Lessons with Tristan can be as structured or as open as the student prefers and he stresses that learning and playing music should be an enjoyable and motivating experience.
