Music Lessons

Music Maxx offers Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano and Vocal lessons, taught by our experienced instructors. Lessons are tailored to individual students needs, taught one-on-one in our private lesson rooms.

Lessons are $17.50 per half hour.

Edward Lee • Guitar
Ed has always been inspired by music. At a very early age he owned a little AM radio and through it he was connected to many classic oldies. These ranged from folk tunes to the hard rockin’ of the 70’s.

Anna Lyman • Voice
Anna Lyman is a performing vocalist and recording artist with a Latin-American background. Born in Detroit, she is a graduate of the Jazz Diploma in at Malaspina University-College.

Tristan Armstrong • Guitar
Tristan Armstrong has a wide musical background with knowledge of various instruments, and an extensive knowledge of the guitar. He holds an appreciation for all forms and styles of music.

Phil Wipper • Drums
Phil discovered drumming is his early teens and has been working professionally as a drummer for over twenty years. A fixture on the island music scene, he's played with David Gogo and many more.

Dave Baird • Bass
Dave Baird is a Malaspina University College graduate where he studied jazz bass for four years, both on Upright and Electric Bass. He has appeared on several nationally broadcast TV programs.

Andrew Rollins • Drums/Keyboards
Andrew has been playing for 13 years in a diverse range of musical styles, including jazz, classical percussion, latin, rock, reggae, hiphop, funk and R&B. He also has a background in piano and guitar.

Jeff Liboiron • Guitar
From the moment Jeff first picked up the guitar, he couldn't put it down. He discovered a huge passion for music, and his strict practice schedule allowed him to learn a lot in a short amount of time.
