WOOT! Glad M.M. came to Courtenay instead of having to drive to Nanaimo. What a fantastic store with great staff. My wife hates going to M.M. with me because I end up spending hours in the store playing all the gats! Like a kid in the candy store! You cannot find a better place for your music needs!!

I thought that I wouldn't be able to use my beloved Rivera Amp for my new years gig because a tube went funny, making the amp's tone pingy and lifeless. I was really impressed that you guys went to the trouble of running a pair of Groove Tubes down to the bus station so quick and at the last minute. I had an awesome New Years gig and my amp inspired me into new realms all night. From now on my power tubes get yanked every 365 days. Thanks so much !

Cool site but it should have a product catalog of the actual products in the store, not just pictures and links to other sites.

Just wanted to say Ross in the drum department gave our $500 kit an overhaul and made it sound fantastic. He changed all the heads, tuned it, and gave us a good deal on cymbals. Also, anytime I've been there, I've had great service and the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. That's Steve, Lee, Julie, Ross, and the whole gang. My son and I wont shop anywhere else. Thank you!

Love the new site! I was looking under the products and I didn't see any effect pedals :( That was the only thing I didn't see, unless I missed it. Other than that, super awesome :) I like it better then the last site.

Yesterday I stopped by to kill some time before a ferry trip to the mainland. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service I received from Ross in the drum shop. He even took the time to show me around the rest of the store. Very impressive. I travel a lot for a living and have seen many music stores all over the country. I wanted to comment on what pleasure it was talking drums with someone as knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It really made my day. I'll definitely be back.

Went into Music Maxx undecided whether drums or guitar for my Singing Telegrams. Great help/staff, quite knowledgeable, let me wander around. Now if only I get enough Singing Telegrams to "afford" the chosen drum set!!!! Enjoyed my time at Music Maxx.

I just bought an acoustic guitar at Music Maxx and its flippin' sweet. Their service is a lot better than Arbutus and they even gave me a deal on a case and a free setup. I've also gotten two guitars repaired there for less than a third of the price Arbutus said it would be. Keep on truckin Music Maxx.

Awesome store, the best in Nanaimo...PERIOD!

I was in the store a couple of weeks ago, thanks for the T-shirts, these I duly gave the band here in Moscow on my return. Right now it is minus 25 so I am not going to get a picture until it warms up. When it does the band (Seredina Dnya=Midday) will go to Red Square and get you a promo shot for the store.

I would like to thank every one from Music Maxx for being such a great help. I love my new crate 200s. I always suggest to all my friends to go to the best music store ever.
